Ranting about “My First Girlfriend is a Gal” for about 8 minutes

[ I’m sorry for the lack of content, I’ve really been trying to get my life sorted out and things are looking up. I’m off to university soon, but will hopefully be able to continue writing and making videos from here on out. Although, I’m not going to force myself to do anything – it will come as I feel like it. Thanks for reading ❤ ]

This is a short rant I made about how badly I think of the currently airing anime “My First Girlfriend is a Gal”. The video is unscripted so has no text version, unfortunately.

Top 5 Anime to watch in Summer 2017

So you want to keep up with the talk, you want to be carried along by the roller-coaster that is seasonal anime? Well, you’ve came to the right place. Well, sort of. I actually struggled to find the 5 series’ I was most excited for, a lot of it is either sequels or just shows that I have absolutely nothing to go on but, that’s exactly the reason we gotta pinpoint some anime to look out for. This list is based entirely on my own opinions and what I’m personally looking forward to, in-fact I’m going to be trying to insert my own opinions more so in to future posts from now on. So, my tastes obviously aren’t going to align with everyone else in the world, but hopefully you’ll be able to look forward to something on this list. Without further a-do, let’s continue with number 5. Oh, also, I’ll be using AniChart and MyAnimeList in order to grab information about shows and will only be covering new or sequels of full length shows (OVA’s, Movies and more will be covered at another time).

Attack on Titan Episode 36 / Season 2 Episode 11 – Charge

Attack on Titan Episode 36 Armoured Titan.JPG

The 36th episode of Attack on Titan (a.k.a Shingeki no Kyogin), or the 11th episode of season two, is an extremely notable point in the series. This is the episode in which everything these recent episodes have brought to the table finally diverge, the episode that sets up for the conclusion to what has been an interesting arc and a slight tonal shift in the series. And, certainly, something worth talking about whether you be a fan of the first or prefer the tone of the second season.

How Mayoiga (The Lost Village) was destined to fail

(This is an old post I never published, focusing on Mayoiga – an anime from the 2016 spring season)

Image result for Mayoiga

Mayoiga (or the lost village) is a mystery/horror anime with a very large cast of characters. So large, infact, that it contains 2.5 times the amount of characters as there are episodes.

Eromanga-sensei Episode 9 – Fairy Island

ero1.PNG

I’m a little late on this one, but the newest episode of the cute girl anime of the season a.k.a “Eromanga-Sensei” was released a couple days ago and I thought it might be about the right time to write about it. Although this particular anime might not exactly be up my street  (Harem and Imouto are not genre’s I’m really in to), the past couple of episodes have been a slight step up, and I’d like to discuss why.

Episode 9 of Eromanga-Sensei is interesting, it takes a rather cliché trope of anime, the beach episode, and adds a little touch to make the viewers care slightly more than they might usually. That touch, being Yamada-sensei’s pseudo confession.

Attack on Titan Episode 35/ Season 2 Episode 10 – Children

AoT 2

So the latest episode of Attack on Titan just dropped, and my feeling’s are extremely mixed – I do like the direction season 2 takes opposed to season 1 (That being the Horror/Mystery feel of the show), but it would certainly still be nice to see some of the epic action scenes we got from the previous season. Exposition is alright when done well, but I think Wit have a little bit to work towards on that front. Maybe they should go watch some Monogatari, or something. Other than that, there is actually a gem of a scene in this episode, which I’ll get to later.

Tanaka-kun’s Genius Simplicity (And Simple Comedy in Anime)

(This was a post written and made in to a video a long while back, I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to the blog along with some more of my older content)

Protagonists from many different shows released every season find themselves in difficult and interesting situations, Tanaka-kun is trying to avoid ending up in them himself.

“Tanaka-kun is always listless” is an anime from Spring 2016 in which the main character wants to be anything but a main character; even describing his friend “Oota” as the protagonist of his own life.
