“I am Setsuna” is a thematic masterpiece.


I am Setsuna is a passionate love letter to classic JRPG’s such as Chrono-Trigger, but it’s not just a carbon copy. In-fact, this game oozes with personality and I think it’s important to explore how playing it gives you an experience you can’t get from many other games at all.

Tanaka-kun’s Genius Simplicity (And Simple Comedy in Anime)

Protagonists from many different shows released every season find themselves in difficult and interesting situations, Tanaka-kun is trying to avoid ending up in them himself.

“Tanaka-kun is always listless” is an anime from Spring 2016 in which the main character wants to be anything but a main character; even describing his friend “Oota” as the protagonist of his own life.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Review

(This is a very old post and may not reflect my current writing style.)

“The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth” is a game released as a “From the ground up” remake of the original “The Binding of Isaac” for PC and Playstation 4. The game has a fairly simplistic design approach and features many controversial topics that others might be afraid to go into the territory of. Needless to say, it’s original release was a massive success and the remake just as big, bringing in new players and attracting owners of the original, once again proving how well indie games can do as developers are perhaps less scared to create a more unique experience.
